你知道如何表达“距离”吗？

在“问路”和“指点方向”时，常常涉及到“距离”的表达。英语表达“距离”的方式虽然多种多样，但归纳起来主要有如下几种表达方式：

一、用里程表达

1. It is + 数词 + 里程单位 + from ... to ....

【例如】：

It is only fifty metres from here to the computer house. 从这儿到电脑室只有50米远。It is 1229 kilometres by train from Wuhan to Beijing. 坐火车从武汉到北京有1229公里。

2. 地点 / 人 + 数词 + 里程单位 + from / to....

【例如】：

The village is eight miles from here. 那个村庄离这里8英里。（由远及近）You are now only thirty miles from the city of Shijiazhuang. 你现在距石家庄市仅30英里。（由远及近）The school is three kilometres to the railway station. 这个学校离火车站有3公里远。（由近及远）

3. 地点 + is + 数词 + 里程单位 + away.

【例如】：

America is thousands of kilometres away.美国有数千公里远。（由近及远）The supermarket is two miles away. 那家超市有两英里远。（由近及远）

二、用时间表达

1. It is + 时间单位(用所有格形式或用表示度量的复合词) + 进行方式(名词) + from ... to ....

【例如】：

It is a week's ride in train from Beijing to Moscow. 从北京到莫斯科乘火车需要一星期。It is a three-hour drive from here to Bei-jing. 从这儿驾汽车到北京需要3小时。

2. 地点 + is + 时间单位 (用所有格形式或用表示度量的复合词) + 进行方式 (名词) +from ....

【例如】：

The zoo is twenty minutes' walk from here. 从这儿到动物园要走20分钟。

3. It takes (sb.) + 时间 + 不定式 + 进行方式 （介词短语）.

【例如】：

It takes about ten minutes to get to my school by bike. 骑自行车到我的学校要花大约10分钟。

4. It is + 时间 + from ... to ... + 进行方式（介词短语）.

【例如】：

It is two days from here to Guangzhou by train. 从这里坐火车到广州需要2天。

5. 地点 + is + 时间 （+ from ...） + 进行方式（介词短语）.

【例如】：

My house is about twenty-five minutes (from here) by bus. （从这儿）乘汽车到我家大约要走25分钟。

6. 地点 + is + 时间 + away.

【例如】：

The post office is ten minutes away. 那家邮局距这里有10分钟的路程。
